THY, has given Mainframe System Management business, which has been continuing for 6 years since 2015, to VBT Yazılım A.Ş. Within the scope of the contract, VBT will manage all Mainframe systems of THY 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, make the necessary installations, monitor the systems, process their maintenance, take data backups, provide disaster center management, and manage automation of systems and batch work mechanisms. It will also serve system operation and software support. It will also be under the responsibility of VBT to install the products of IBM, CA and BMC Software companies, to process their patches, to manage the storage systems. These systems supported by VBT are the systems where the most critical systems of THY operate, ticketing, reservation and check-in processes, on which IBM's ALCS system is running, and the annual continuous online rate must be 99.99%. The contract will last until March 31, 2024.
