The following statement was shared by Birol Başaran, our chairman of the board of directors:
"While VBT Software has been the fastest growing IT company in Turkey for the last 3 years, it has established companies and opened offices in 6 countries in 2 years in order to direct the growth abroad where the market is more voluminous. Before the end of this year, we started to receive the first revenues from our overseas structuring.
I had to register 780,000 of my VBT Software shares with the CRA for the collaterals we needed to establish companies and enter into contracts in different countries. With my personal collateral, the company will not be under any obligation.
Thus, my 46.35% shareholding in VBT Yazılım with a total of 12,050,000 shares will remain unchanged and the publicly traded portion will increase. However, since these shares will not be sold, the shares in actual circulation will not increase.
Our company is at the beginning of its journey to become a major regional player. I have never sold any shares and I do not plan to sell any shares on the stock exchange. I am making this statement in order to inform our stakeholders."
